    Yes. the wraps can be washed or wiped in cool water. Gentle soap can be used. Scrub with a soft cloth, rinse and air dry.
  • Can Busy Bree's Wax Wraps be used in the oven or microwave?
    No. do not use heat of any kind. No oven, microwave, dishwasher or prolonged, direct sunlight.
  • What do you use wax wraps for?
    Busy Bree's Wax Wraps can be used to replace plastic cling wrap. Use to store food, cover dishes and take meals on the go!
  • How long do the wraps last?
    With proper care, Busy Bree's wraps can last over 18 months.
  • How do I care for my Busy Bree's Wax Wraps?
    Wash in cool water and keep away from heat sources. If wrap crackes from extensive use, you can refresh one or two times throughout its lifespan by laying out on parchment in an oven at 200°F for 5 minutes.
  • What can I do with my wax wrap after its lifespan?
    Busy Bree's Wax wraps are 100% biodegradeable and can be put in the compost.

  • What are your food wraps made out of?
    Busy Bree’s wax wraps are made from 100% cotton, organic beeswax, food grade pine rosin and jojoba oil.
  • Will these wraps retain the smell of food, like an onion?"
    No. They will not smell like anything that has been wrapped in it.
  • Why is a wrap in my package is slightly bigger than the others?
    Because these wraps are handmade, your wraps will never be smaller than advertised but occasionally they might be a 1/2 inch bigger.
  • Will you make custom sizes?
    Definitely! Simply contact me with your request and we will make a plan for payment and fabric choice
